What it means to be a Personal Family Lawyer
In the following series of posts, I will explain in more detail what it means to be and to work with a Personal Family Lawyer and how it differs from the experienc of being or working with a traditional estate planning attorney. In this post, I will briefly describe some of the key differences:
In the beginning, I was a traditional attorney. I have always enjoyed my work, but was disappointed when my clients walked out the door because I knew I probably would not hear from then again. I wanted to form a more meaningful long term relationship with my clients, but didn’t know how. Now traditional is a thing of the past. Now individuals and families think of me as their trusted advisor for life.
